The Home
This is an estate property on 20 acres overlooking an local reservoir. There is a separate apartment with its own
full kitchen and bath, as well as fireplace, over the garage for inlaws or kids. Home is within 20-30 minutes from
the major Lake Tahoe ski resorts and 10 minutes from the charming town of Truckee, California. 30 minutes from
Reno/Tahoe airport. Outdoor activities abound. From skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter
season to golfing, biking, hiking, sailing, windsurfing, boating in the summer. Home has a full sand volleyball
court and private hiking/snowshoeing trails on our property. Cross-country skiing is right out the door. 4WD SUV
and mid-week caretaker to check on things.
The Neighborhood
Home is in a small, safe, gated community (30 homes) located at the end of a cul d'sac. Home is not within view
of neighbors who also have large lots. Folks here are extremely helpful as all live in a mountain environment.
Enjoy great views of the local lake, sunsets, and stargazing from back deck and spa. The home is large but very
cozy and with hydronic heat, a real wood stove, and outdoor spa, makes for a perfect winter lodge.
