The Residence
Lots of privacy -- and unbelievable views -- in this respite on the top of a mountain. This mountain house is timber
frame, with windows on almost all outside walls (to appreciate the constantly changing views outside), cathedral
ceilings, and skylights. It has a wood stove for cold evenings, and 5 decks, covered porches and overlooks to enjoy
the views.

You can hike for miles and never leave the property. You won't see any people - only deer, butterflies, rabbits, and
lots of birds (including wild turkeys). The home has a big, fully equipped kitchen (two ovens, coffeemaker, mixmaster,
food) .

It has satellite tv, a ping pong table, wireless internet, and a stereo.

On the main floor, in addition to the open living area, are two bedrooms - one with a queen bed, one with two twins,
and two bathrooms (one with a luxurious spa bath). Upstairs are two bedrooms (sleeping 2 and 3 respectively), plus
two spacious lofts which between them sleep 6 more people (and include a piano). On the lower level is a private suite
with a separate, small kitchen, a queen size bed and a large living area.

The Area
This mountain house is secluded on the top of the mountain all by itself -- the driveway is a mile long to the top of the
mountain where the house is situated. The road is in good shape and quite comfortable to drive with any car. Home is
15 minutes from Lewisburg, WV about which the NY Times recently (June 2, 2006) said: "The town is Lewisburg,
which is tucked into the foothills of the Allegheny mountains in southern West Virginia. It's a place where you can start
the day kayaking down the Greenbrier River and end it listening to a jazz concert. An afternoon spent browsing the art
galleries that line the historic downtown can be capped off with fly-fishing at twilight." Also see the Washington Post

Other Information
Home includes four bicycles, canoes if you know how to use them. Nearby there is the Greenbrier River and the River
Trail, where you can bike for 30 miles or more alongside this mountain river.

There are hiking trails marked through the woods on the property, which offer a variety of fauna and vistas. On one of
the easier trails (about a 3/4 mile walk from the house) there are some interesting small cliffs and caves which always
fascinate children.

The house is fully equipped with games, books, wood for the fireplace, a gas grill, and a piano.

Auto is available with house.
